Coach Hills recently retired from Concordia University after training their pitchers for the past seven seasons. Their loss is our gain as he has taken on an in depth role with Rose City Baseball Club.  He is with us for his fifth season working with Rose City Baseball Club as the Head Coach of our 13U RCBC Select Team and he is our Director of Baseball Operations. Before co-founding RCBC in 2014, Hills’ previous coaching experience includes working as the pitching coach for South Eugene High School from 2003-05 and at Lane Community College from 2006-07. He also spent time as the head coach for the WCL-Portland and The Yard Baseball Academy 19U Team during the summers. Hills was an All-State outfielder at McNary High School in Keizer, Ore., and went on to earn All-NWAACC honors as a first baseman and pitcher while at Chemeketa Community College. Hills was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 1997 and pitched in the organization through the 2001 season. Hills graduated from the University of Oregon in 2006 (business) and lives in Beaverton with his wife, Amanda.
